Rock Singing (Ain't It Fun by Paramore)

This has been my weakest genre so far, I don't have the raw vocals for this style and although I was able to reach my goals of good articulation and not straining my voice but my version does not have nearly the same affect as when Haley Williams sings. However the recording quality of my phone using a instrumental backing track will not have given me very much support, if I were to try and improve it would be a case of having a band so I was able to perform the entire song live. Vocally I have much to work on to have a stronger rock voice, at the moment my voice sounds to light and careful therefor I would have to engage my core to get a deeper and stronger sound.
